After last night's episode, my lover called, and the first thing he said was "Santino shouldn't have won." Oh, wistful sigh. Of course, I then took this as an invitation to rant about how I didn't particularly like any of the top three dresses, Diana shouldn't have been in the bottom three, and Marla should've been out over Guadalupe, and now she's going to drag Diana down next week. All of this to which he meekly replied that he'd only watched the last few minutes. Ah, well.
By the time I'd finished talking to him, I just enough wakefulness to open a blogger window and write three sentences. I was more sick and tired than I thought I was, to the point where I really couldn't recall the process for putting up a picture. As I had to work this morning, I trudged to bed, coughed myself to sleep, apparently had a half-asleep conversation with my mother at some point and woke up at 2 am with my whippet crawling on me and a sliver of a cough drop in my mouth. I slept an hour late this morning, took a shower and another drop, and Febreezed my work uniform. Hopefully I didn't spread my illness to any of the old women who came in for a pizza at 10:45 am- a full fifteen minutes before we actually open.
I've been working on an update in pieces. Right now, however, I need some ice cream, some tylenol and some sleep.

I agree 100% with all of this. And did you hear Santino moaning about Diana? Saying that her voice was annoying, etc.? In her blog, she said she had a terrible cold during the taping of the whole show. Well, I am biased toward Diana, but I think Santino is just a meanie.
Also, how has Zulema never been in the bottom three? I hate everything she designs and none of the judges seem to.
Nick's dress, while pretty - looked like something a mermaid would wear - and was so much like something Paris HIlton wore recently -
Nothing Chloe makes - fits well - all those low cut fronts just are ugly on her model -maybe it's just her model though -
Loved Andraes - it was the best I've thought he has done -
Liked Danny's but thought if they were talking about a dress making a behind look big - his did it -with the design pleated wider at her behind and less wide at the bottom (did that make sense - look at the dress at her butt to see what you think)
Sorry - I thought Santino's dress was great - again (but hated all his lingerie - except Heathers) I like that he has a distinctive style - and I think it looks just like something you would see in a fashion magazine or on a celebrity
I wonder if a lot of people have gotten down on Santino for his "personality" (as presented) and don't really give his stuff an honest evaluation -
Designers do have looks - I'm sure the thirty minute design time cuts down on all the designers ability to come up with something really different - but in real life - a designer would have time to be much more creative - think outside the box
oh, meant to say - I really dislike Marla's, Guadalupe's, Zulema's, Emmett's -
Didn't really like Kara's or Diana's either - but they were not in the worst category to me -
By the way I find Diana's voice kind of irritating too - not just the nasal thing (which I hope for her sake is her cold) but the way she is kind of inarticulate and passive and insecure - probably her age though - see is awfully young
